Hansen 100006E – Gas-Mate Series
The Hansen 100006E is a Gas-Mate Series socket/female quick disconnect coupling designed for gas fired devices and gas system applications. This brass coupling uses a one-way shut-off safety design so gas flow stops automatically when the plug is removed from the socket.
Gas-Mate couplings connect and disconnect without wrenches, and the plug is designed with a heat-sensitive feature that allows the socket valve to close in fire conditions to help keep gas from traveling farther down the line. This configuration is commonly used in industrial, food and beverage, and fuel gas system service.
